Grenoble is a French city located in the Alps. The urban area is about 358.1 km2 (138.3 sq mi) for a population of around 450 000 inhabitants. The city was founded more than two thousand years ago and gathers several Roman and Medieval remains. Grenoble is today an international place for mountain sports, scientific research, and technologies. This experience was created with OpenTopography SRTM data produced by the NASA and OpenStreetMap urban information and proposes a virtual representation of Grenoble's cityscape.
