About Game
I used LÖVE (a framework for making 2D games) to create a prototype space themed game. You play as a spaceship on a crusade to decimate all alien races. Destroy all waves of alien ships and defeat the boss to establish the superiority of the human race!

The game requires a mouse and a keyboard.

The game does not support a full screen mode, yet. However the window is still resizable.

This game would not have been possible without the guidance of Colton Ogden and the Harvardx Computer Science for Game Development [edx program](https://www.edx.org/professional-certificate/harvardx-computer-science-for-game-... ). The staff's guidance and knowledge was indispensible and I would not have made it this far without them. They have my deepest gratitude. The game also makes use of several libraries and modules:

"Push" (https://github.com/Ulydev/push) library by Ulydev.

"Class.lua" of the "hump" (https://github.com/vrld/hump) library by vrld.

Timer.lua and Event.lua of the "knife" (https://github.com/airstruck/knife) library by airstruck.

Most of the sounds are original and created on a digital audio Workstation but some sounds have been charitably donated to the world for use by humble developers like me, my thanks to:

Musicradar (https://www.musicradar.com/) for some awsome samples that used to create the ethereal sounds of the game.

bertsz (https://freesound.org/people/Bertsz/) of freesound.org for the squishing sound.

nioczkus (https://freesound.org/people/nioczkus/) of freesound.org for the ammo-pickup sound.

michael_grinnel (https://freesound.org/people/michael_grinnell/) of freesound.org for the electric-zap sound.

TunePocket (https://www.tunepocket.com/) - "Unlimited royalty free music and sound effects" for the "Swoosh" sound effect.

I'll be remiss if I didn't thank my friends and family for their constant support and patience. I thank you all and strive to get better at what I do every day.
